SOLODock Adapt is a compact USB-C to DisplayPort adapter designed to complete your SOLODock setup. By combining DisplayPort video output, USB-C Power Delivery pass-through, an integrated USB 2.0 port and an included under-desk mounting bracket, it enables supported MacBooks to charge while operating in closed clamshell mode while keeping your workspace clean and organised.

Installation takes around 10 minutes.

1. Mount the included 3D printed bracket beneath your desk using the supplied hardware.
2. Slide SOLODock Adapt securely into the mounting bracket.
3. Connect SOLODock Adapt to your SOLODock Connect, SOLODock Pro or compatible MacBook.
4. Connect your DisplayPort cable to your monitor.
5. Connect a compatible USB-C power adapter using a USB-C charging cable to the Power Delivery input.
6. Connect your keyboard, mouse or other compatible USB accessory to the integrated USB 2.0 port if required.
7. Close your MacBook to begin using supported clamshell mode.
8. Keep all ports clean and free from dust and debris.

Most modern USB-C monitors connect directly to SOLODock Connect or SOLODock Pro and do not require SOLODock Adapt.

SOLODock Adapt is designed primarily for users with monitors that use DisplayPort, allowing more MacBook users to enjoy the SOLODock experience without replacing their existing display.

SOLODock Adapt combines DisplayPort video output, USB-C Power Delivery pass-through, a USB 2.0 accessory port and a dedicated under-desk mounting solution into one compact product.

For supported MacBooks to operate in closed clamshell mode, external USB-C Power Delivery must be connected using a compatible USB-C power adapter and USB-C charging cable (both not included). Display resolution, refresh rate and charging performance depend on your MacBook, monitor, DisplayPort cable and power adapter specifications.

The integrated USB 2.0 port is intended for low-bandwidth peripherals such as keyboards, mice and similar USB accessories. High-speed storage devices and other bandwidth-intensive peripherals are not recommended.

The included precision 3D printed mounting bracket keeps SOLODock Adapt securely mounted beneath your desk for a clean, permanent installation that matches the rest of the SOLODock ecosystem.
